Composer Eric Ross, with video artist Mary Ross, will present a special World Premiere concert performance at
the new Guggenheim-Bilbao Museum, Spain, on November 12, 2009. Eric Ross performs on guitar, piano, synthesizer
and is a master of the Theremin, one of the first electronic instruments. Eric’s compositions are a combination of
written and improvised music, and include elements of jazz, classic, serial, and avant garde. Mary’s videotapes and
photographs, which are projected in performance, are organized, arranged and edited to his music. In an hour-long
performance, Eric and Mary Ross will premiere their most recent work, the Boulevard d’Reconstructie (Op.54).
Among other concerts this fall, Eric Ross will perform in Germany at the Bauhaus Theater in Dessau, the Residence
Palace in Wurzburg, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites at the Casada Musica in Portugal, and are featured artists on
the Festival of Sound, Movement & Light in the Czech Republic.
